The truth at last! Noam Chomsky precipitated the attack with his
terror-memes. It seems so clear to me now.

BTW those were REALLY sour grapes back there; I shan't return.

Tralalala.

In fact, as twisted as it is, Horowitz's article may have its uses.

At the time when we had a military dictatorship in Greece (1967-1974),
they used to run everyday anticommunist serials on radio and TV, where
cunning and evil communists were working hard to undermine the three
holiest of our values, that is "Homeland, Religion, Family". (That was
THE official motto.)

Most parents did not let their kids watch those programs, but most kids
used to keep a small radio receiver hidden somewhere in their bedroom
and listen to the weird horror stories late at night, notably one called
"Caught in the spider's web" at 10 pm. What was strange was that a lot
of kids seemed to empathize with the communist caricatures presented in
the stories rather than with "Homeland, Religion, Family". The kids used
to talk about the stories in school, and several became communists (or
so they thought) precisely because of those stories.

Aah! The dreadful lure of the leftist abyss.

Warm regards
