Believe it or not, I actually read the entire 73k post (none of mine were
close to that long), as an academic exercise, and what I found
confirmed my recent Phenomenology of Conspiracy Theorists with an
accuracy and precision that amazed even me. Even though one group
was killing millions of the other a mere half-century ago, the Nazis and
the Jews were both there, as were the Communists, the Illuminati, in
fact, all the usual conspiracy nut suspects who are supposedly playing
'great and powerful wizard' and pulling the power levers behind the
curtain/veil. Even after I cored this psychopathology's particular apple
and stripped it bare for all onlist to see, Scat had to be flung, for these
people are obsessive-compulsive about seeding their memes, be they
about Elvis and the Space Aliens or the proverbial and dreaded
Nazi/Illuminati Global-Takeover-and-Enslavement connection. The
only reason I can think for him to do so is that he can feel such an
unreasoning and visceral hatred of Dubya from many on this list that he
has to be hoping that the sheer emotional intensity of it will override
rational and logical filters and hook this nonsense into a craving cortex
or two. The Fundy Christian Right cannot have hated Clinton more -
and we all saw what wild demon-spawn theories they were
subsequently inspired to hatch. Don't be seduced by raw animus into
being unreasoning doppelgangers of them, on opposite poles but both
poles bereft of their senses.
