Re: virus: blame David

As a moderator of lists in the past, I can say in David's defense that the
dozens of messages daily asking for help with trivially simple tasks for
which the requester has already received clear instructions does get old,
and occasionally I was not in the mood to be ever so gracious and helpful as
the user might have hoped. I can almost guarantee that your post won't bump
you ahead any in the line-up.

-ben (who actually does keep the instructions sent to him by all of the 30+
lists he's on, because the leaving procedures vary widely and I know I'm not
uber-genius enough to remember them all in my crammed little brain)

As you can see from below, I tried to politely leave.
But David simply reminds me that I ought to have kept the instructions like
it suggested. See how stupid I am? I failed to take David's instructions
seriously. David, I'm sure, keeps every instruction the web ever suggests.
So, now I choose to stay. And if I prove to be a virulent strain of organism
(or prion)...blame David.
