"When did you take the naturalisation tests?"

About six months ago. Obviously, I can't comment on how they may have changed over the years, but I did not find them terribly difficult. The questions regarding history and political structures were the ones I tended to score best on; I can lay claim to little knowledge concerning national holidays and so on.

"America has managed to make itself become quite the fear in people's eyes. This is a true statement and it is undebatable. So don't even try. It's solid. It's not liquid. It's just there. Nope! You can't debate it."

I can assure you that I can debate absolutely anything, up to and including the proposition that the moon is made of green cheese. As it happens though, I don't have much inclination to argue that assertion.

" You'll probably have trouble understanding me so my recommendation is that you don't analyze my words. If you do you get a much stranger meaning than I intended."

I will seek to bear this in mind, but as words are all we have to go on (since my clairvoyant abilities are sadly lacking), I feel that a little more care would not be entirely inappropriate, for your own sake as much as that of anyone else.
