Except for one minor detail: He didn't run from his problem or give a bunch of excuses on why the world sucks, life sucks, American Government sucks... he joined the war on his own accord and drove tanks around in Europe fighting for the American Cause.
The American cause???? Forgive me for being blunt, but the United States could have had any governmental system of any political stripe and any administration would still have taken the same decision; the US was entirely indifferent to the rise of Hitler and Mussolini in Europe and became involved in the second world war purely and solely on grounds of self defence. The US atittude to Hitler was that the Nazi party offered a useful counterweight to communist elements within Germany and was to be actively encouraged on that basis. Hitler also received a great deal of support from a long list of prominent Americans including Randolph Hearst, Thomas J. Watson, Thomas Lindbergh and Henry Ford.
Punk ideologies (i.e. anarchic ideologies)
My reading of Zloduska's post was that it advocated a form of European social democracy. While one can argue the merits and demerits of such ideologies, I think it fair to observe that it has nothing whatsoever to do anarchism. Unless you think that states like Holland and Belgium are essentially anarchist?
I disagree with their practices but I don't hate them.

Frankly, there is far too much compost in evidence round these parts at the moment. My guess is that most gays and lesbians are likely to remain immune to your obviously devastating charms, if only because my experience has been that lesbians rarely consider men attractive at all. Odd that. Incidentally, am I to take it that in the event of another man finding you attractive (I'm guessing that this is rather unlikely, but never mind) that you would consider reaching for the baseball bat to be a suitable response?

How fascinating to see Chomsky (ask your esteemed Dr of Political Science or better yet invite him here directly instead of expecting us to conduct discussions with him by proxy) and his theory of the manufacturing of consent being co-opted by the right for a change.
Just tell me how do you expect the government to comply with all of your wishes? If they can't please all groups, it's in their best interest to please themselves.
I think you will find that Madison and Hamilton (ask your Dr of Politicial Science) stated that it was explicitly the role of government to contend between differing interests. Not that the mafia was exactly what either of them had in mind.

Yes, the erudition and insight simply radiated forth from that comment. For someone so hypersensitive in defending life, liberty and the pursuit of justice you appear remarkably keen on defending groups whose views are far more inimical to those concepts than anything being advocated here.
