A wonderful, warm, idealistic document containing much to which I would
like to subscribe. IMHO tho, like many another idealistic expression,
this protocol glosses over some of the practicalities of human
power-interactions.

It is Blunderov's perhaps rather jaundiced view that there is actually
no such thing as a human (or any other) right that is not secured by
some form of force, or the implication of it. Being social creatures we
are hierarchical in our behavior and this hierarchical structure is most
clearly reflected in differential privilege, however egalitarian we may
pretend to be.

Your average homo sapiens is not inclined to afford the same
hierarchical status that he holds to another unless he is in some way
constrained to do so.

The unfortunate conclusion that might is right seems unavoidable.

That said, viva the republic!

Warm regards.
